Statement of Faith.

 

1. Biblical authority.

 

we believe that the bible is the inspired, inerrant and authoritative word of god. we believe the bible is the final authority in every area of christian life, as well as for the church collectively.

 

2. trinity.

 

we believe there is one God who eternally exists as three persons: father,son and holy spirit.

 

3. creation.

 

we believe god created the earth in six days and rested on the seventh.

 

we believe that god created the world and human beings, male and female in his own image, as written in genisis 1.

 

4. the gospel.

 

we believe that god the son became a human being in the person of jesus christ. he was conceived of the holy spirit and born of the virgin mary, lived a sinless life and died as a substitution for all mankind who broke the moral law (10 commandments).

 

jesus christ was raised from the dead on the third day.

 

he ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of god the father. jesus christ is the way, the truth and the life and the only way to the father is through him. salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in jesus alone.

 

5. holy spirit.

 

we believe the holy spirit was sent by the father and the son to convict the world of sin and to reveal his righteousness and judgement.

 

we believe the holy spirit regenerates, indwells and seals believers in the lord jesus christ and that he empowers them to live as salt and light.

 

6. marriage.

 

according to his purpose and design, god created man and women to fulfil distinct but complimentary roles in the context of marraige, family and the local church.

 

marriage is defined AS THE UNION OF ONE MAN AND ONe WOMEN FOR LIFE.

 

WE BELIEVE THAT MEN HAVE A PRIMARY ROLE OF BEING CHURCH LEADERS AND ONLY MEN CAN CORPORATELY PREACH AND TEACH IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.

 

7. ISRAEL.

 

WE BELIEVE THE PROMISES OF GOD COME THROUGH ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB. WE BELIEVE THE JEWS ARE THE CHOSEN PEOPLE OF GOD AND THE ORACLE OF THE TRUTH.

 

CHRISTIANS HAVE BEEN GRAFTED IN AND HAVE BECOME PART OF THE PROMISES MADE TO ABRAHAM.

 

WHETHER JEW OR GENTILE, ALL MUST BE SAVED THROUGH CHRIST.

 

8. RAPTURE.

 

WE BELIEVE THE CHURCH WILL BE RAPTURED BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT OF CHRIST AND WILL REIGN WITH HIM FOR HIS MILLENNIUM.
